Remote welding represents the most recent result of this dynamic production optimization. The positioning speeds, which are higher by a factor of 100 than typical welding speeds, represented a great challenge for the real-time Inline process monitoring. Through suitable HW&SW-developments and augmentations, today the seam-to-seam times are below 20ms.
Most important precondition for this development was the availability of laser beam sources, which supplied power in the multi-kilowatt range with high beam quality at the same time.

Over the years, far-reaching, and above all, positive experience has been acquired with every common type of laser beam, including applications in series production for renowned car manufacturers and their suppliers.
